tatyana aliTatyana Marisol Ali (born on January 24, 1979) is an American singer and actress best well-known for her character Ashley Banks on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 until 1996. Tyana Jones as her TV One character, was her first TV series. Ali also played Roxanne in the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Ali who was just six years old, began her acting career in the year 1985 when she was a regular on the PBS children's educational program Sesame Street. The show also featured an appearance by jazz legend Herbie Hancock who demonstrated his Fairlight CMI synthesizer with a sample Ali's vocal. Star Search featured her on two episodes.
