Kari Samantha (born April 28th on 1967) Wuhrer is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer's career began as she was still in her teens. Her most famous roles include Maggie Beckett, an actress in Sliders as well as her character Sheriff Samantha Parker from the horror comedy Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer is the daughter of Karin Noble (nee Noble) working as an accountant for payroll and German American Andrew Wuhrer (a policeman and car dealer). The couple has three brothers. When she was a teenager was a nightclub singer in the night, as well as sneaking out of her family home to perform.
