Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson hails from the American continent and works as a producer, actress, writer/singer/director. Her most recognizable role is as Tara Maclay, in the TV show Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Additionally, she's directed, produced and appeared in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was in the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January, 1977 Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Diane Benson and Edward Benson psychiatrist. Danielle Benson was her artist younger sister. Benson was raised in the Reform synagogue in the name of the Reform Jewish mother and Jewish father. Benson has appeared involved in numerous TV and movie shows since Buffy ended, has also appeared in The Killing Jar. Behind the camera she put her writing skills into her Ghosts of Albion series and directed on projects like the 2010's Drones.
