Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music in the world of music as Harry Styles, is a British composer and performer known as one of the members of the band One Direction. He is the child of Des Styles (father) and Anne Cox, Harry Styles was born on February 1, 1994, in Holmes Chapel. Harry Styles was a student at Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School where as well as three of his classmates, he founded his own group, White Eskimo. The band's outstanding performances enabled them to beat in the Battle of Bands 2009. Even though he's always expressed an interest in the world of music however, despite his love for it, he wished to be a lawyer or an physiotherapist. He worked in the local bakery for a few hours to support his family financially. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition where he sang the Stevie Wonder's hit song Is not She Lovely. For that reason his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger proposed to Harry Styles that he join of a new band called One Direction. The other members were Liam Payne Zayn Mallik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The group sang The Kelly Clarkson song My Life Would be Sucking Without You along with Bonnie Tyler Total Eclipse of the Heart. In consequence, they were one of the finalist. But they finished 3rd place, behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles did not receive any cash prize. However, Cowell offered a 2-million-pound deal to One Direction in order for the group to be a part of Syco Records.
