Kelly Clarkson is an American singer and songwriter who became the nation's love interest after winning the American Idol title during the very first season of the reality show. The singer was not just the most popular after her victory, but she also signed a record contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for multiple albums. Since then, she's released many studio albums, three albums that made it to the top list of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly missed the coveted spot. She's one of the biggest artist to emerge from American Idol. She tried her hand at fame with various themes as well as musical styles. She often composed her own music. The uniqueness of her voice and singing skills earned her praise in addition to a couple of prestigious distinctions. Most notably she has won the Grammy Award three times. As well as her musical professional career, she has also performed on television as well as in movies. In addition, she is the author of the book for children River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as a member of numerous charitable organizations.
