Alison Krauss

Alison Krauss has been a country singer for over 30 years. She was born in Decatur IL on the 23rd July 1971. LeAnn Kymes and Alison Krauss were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss, born on July 23, 1971, is an American singer and musician. Alison Krauss started her music career as a child, winning local competitions at the age of 10. Her first recording was her first album at fourteen. The year 1987 was when she released her first solo album, after being signed to Rounder Records. She was also invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. Later, in 1989 her debut solo album was released with them.
